A good hair day

A very special and super fantastic night; we went to the Amanda Young Foundation Ball.  I wore my Grecian-style ballgown, made in 2004.  An oldie now but still a goodie.  I had my hair put up professionally, which always makes me feel super glamorous!
Now please excuse my lack of loquaciousness, Cinderella is off to bed before she turns into a pumpkin….

Details:
Ballgown; Vogue 2480, sage green and oyster white satin, details here
Sandals; Sachi, bought from some little boutique in Melbourne
Earrings; Sophie Kyron

  1. You look simply stunning! Beautiful dress and hairdo. I love the contrast of silver with your hair colour, and your earrings complement everything perfectly too!

  2. Beautiful dress – how great that it still fits so beautifully. Your hair looks lovely always a great treat. It's very now that design, with the twist to the side. Glad you said you were off to bed or I'd t think you get up this early! I have to remember Sherry is 3 hrs ahead also!

  3. I did a double take when I realised you had only posted two hours ago and I just got out of bed at 7.30am hmmm must have been a good night. I love the dress…very current with it's colour blocking.

  4. You look beautiful!! I love your up-do too.

Btw thanks for leaving the comment on my blog suggesting I blog about my grandmothers' treasures. Until I read your note it hadn't even occured to me, and now I'm slapping my head thinking, "Why didn't I think of this?" 🙂

  5. Hi Carolyn, it was a good night. Your dress is beautiful. Might have to track down that pattern. I aim to make my dress for next year. Hope the theme fits my sewing ability.
