That rhubard and custard cake looks divine…my favourite sort of cake!
Did you make the cake – it looks absolutely scrumptious. I think I need some.
Yes I did! The recipe is in the Australian Women's Weekly Cooking Class Cakes
I agree, that cake looks delicious! And that's a very good motto – thanks for the reminder. 🙂
Magnificently marvelous!
I love that motto! I need to remember that more in my sewing.
I love the meaningful motto, it's so true! I've never seen a moonflower before but it looks beautiful and I'm sure even more so when it opens up at night!
That's a great motto and your cake looks gorgeous!
I would love that recipe. I have more pears and rhubarb at the moment than I know what to do with.
Love the motto. That is my biggest problem. Being new to sewing I am scared to cut into the beautiful fabric that I am addicted to buying! But it is through the mistakes and trials that you learn. I must release my fears!
I like the cost roundup of sewing projects. It gives me no end of satisfaction to make something fabulous for pennies.
The motto is so true. The cake looks scrumptious. And I'm impressed with the thriftiness of the month!
oh my does that cake look good, I will be right over with some coffee :O)
looks like an Epiphyllum sp. My favorite!
Thanks for sharing cost data – very useful. What colour is bitumen? Must look that up…
OMG!!!!!!
A Moon flower?
I have had this very strange looking plant growing for YEARS with no blossom but spreading uncontrollably over/through my living room… Then, a year ago after deciding to feed (read over feed) it with orchid food it in an attempt to force SOMething…this plant blessed us with 3 buds. Precisely the blossom above! Thank you for solving this mystery!
BTW, the buds were so heavy they fell off soon after they opened up…
THANK YOU. Cape Cod MA.
