Sorry. Well, sewing for practicality and not for fabulousness is sometimes required of me too. You might be able to see that at least I used pink and purple overlocker thread. Sienna appreciated that little girly touch. Really.

She looks thrilled! It may not be the most exciting sewing to do, but at least you have the feeling of accomplishment that comes with making something for such a worthy cause.(Whew! That was quite the sentence!) And honestly, what girl doesn't love to get fancy new bedding?

We use cheap fleece in the outside igloo but inside, my dogs sleep in a playpen with 2 sets of pillows. Having small dogs just brings out the mother hen in me.

Yup, Kevin is encouraging me to do the etsy. I just need a "brand" for the name and a label I guess. At some point I may do a post asking for suggestions … for now it is just "Designs by Caroline … " with the chinese character for our last name, but I wish I had something catchy like Dana's "MADE" ya know? Isn't it wonderful to know that you can produce these much needed necessities without too much trouble. Some people actually pay real money for "custom covered dog beds". (perish the thought) Our pooches do deserve the best.
