Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate…

Dug out the Bouchee dress again and am wearing it with my big wooden-beaded necklace.  Today the necklace is bringing to my mind a display cabinet in a chocolate shop; an array of glossy Lindt truffles, strung together with Maltesers and chocolate coated macadamias; with the silver charms like the crumpled silver foil unwrapped from their bonbons and tossed carelessly aside…
In fact I’m feeling today I look like a long tall glass of Milo, laced with rich chocolate-y goodness all the way up!
Must be having a chocolate addiction “moment” and there’s only one cure for that one…

  1. Beautiful dress. Just in time for Valentine's Day!

  2. Alert! They have the most beautiful white cotton organdy at Fabulous Fabrics. I just bought half the roll so you better get in quick. It is delicious!

I am working on my new white lacy top now! It's not really lacy… it's antique embroidered cotton voile. So gorgeous! Can't wait to show you.

You look lovely in chocolate brown. Unfortunately I can't wear it. 🙁 Looks brilliant with that necklace.

Did I comment on your refashioned shirt-dress?? I meant to. It's brilliant. We had to do that for our first assignment at uni (fashion and textiles, not medicine hehe). Yours is much better than mine! I've actually be thinking for a while that I wouldn't mind doing another.

Grrrr so many ideas, so little time!

  3. You look lovely. But you shouldn't have mentioned the chocolate because now I'm having a big craving.

  4. Chocolate is definitely what comes to mind seeing this fabric 🙂 What a lovely shade of brown. It's amazing how you take a pattern and make it your own style. This is a beautiful dress and the accessories are perfect.
